Mae'd With A Kiss
Kenzie and I, known this weekend as "Mae'd With A Kiss", blew away a raging crowd of a whopping 20-30 people in Darby, MT as part of the Rockin' In the Roots concert series!
We had a blast from the moment we hopped in the Yukon with Papa Russ and Mama Wendy for the entire 7 hour trip from Lewistown to Darby until we hopped on stage enduring blazing winds and power short-outs.
It was definitely an eventful evening for our first official gig. But I couldn't ask for a better, more-talented cohort and team mate than Kenzie because one doesn't exist!
Ka-chow baby! There's more where this comes from at Lola's on July 22nd!

The Year of The Boar...By Anneke Majors
My lovely older sister, Anneke, has written an amazing collection of stories from her mission in Japan, our paternal grandmother's conversion, and our mom's conversion and the series of events, generations deep, that lead to it all. The book is called, "The Year of The Boar" and you can get it here! for only $5.99. I highly recommend it. It will summon laughter, tears, and intelligent thought & pondering. It is an e-book edition so if you have a kindle or other e-book you can get it easily. For those of you who don't (like me) go here to Download Kindle PC for FREE!
Aside from the fact that she is my sister...and a bit of bias is expected...her writing is enthralling, witty, and heart warming. Great if you know anyone serving a mission soon, currently or has served already. Even a non-member could appreciate the mere honesty of this book.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

To all the great MOMs in my life!
First things first...Gotta shout out to my own dear sweet Mother, Katy.
The strongest woman I know! Someday I hope I can cook as well as you and look as good dancing in the kitchen while I do it! Love you Mama!
An to her mother, my grandma Marilyn...for bringing Katy into the world! Grandma is one of the best supports we have. I have always adored her spunk and spirit!
One of the newest mamas in the family...Nubia!
You have taken onto Motherhood like you have done it your whole life!
Mama Panda Bear...one of the most inspiring Mothers I know.
Always thinking about her children and doing whats best for them. I take notes so I can HOPE to one day be as cute, fun, inovative and inspiring of a mom as you, Panda!
And I feel so lucky to have been blessed with such an amazing mother-in-law! Wendy, you have made me feel like one of your own. I only hear the best concerning your family. And I know its because you have rooted your children strong in the gospel and you are always an influence and example of good.
To everyone...HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Freddie's 6 month photo shoot
Freddie's Great-Aunt Jan Allen came out to the ranch and so generously devoted her time, talents and ideas to this terrific photo shoot of Freddie! We had a great time playing around and here are the outcomes!

This is a little 'family tree' mobile I put together for Freddie before he was even born!
Notice the picture he is reaching for is of his Pennsylvania cousins Jack, Van and Noa Tingey!
A pair of his old man's boots and a pair of his mama's!
Gettin' wind of the breeziest of breezes ;)
Reading "Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel."
One of Jaxon's favorite books when he was a kid.
Hangin' out with some pals...Check the cows in the background!
Mama kisses!
Had to take some pictures on Freddie's sheep rug like we did when he was a new born

These blocks were a hand made gift from my good gal pal Anna Meuchel.
Hope you all enjoy! And be sure to give Jan a pat on the back for such a job well done!
